Washington Redskins receiver Santana Moss, who was recently traded to the Carolina Panthers, will be the only player on the team to receive a new contract.

In a contract extension, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Moss will receive a total of $8.5 million in 2016.

That includes $4 million guaranteed.

The Redskins have already signed a contract with former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant to an extension, which was signed on June 30.

The contract also includes $2 million in guarantees.

Moss, a second-round pick of the Rams in 2012, has had some trouble with injuries, but the Redskins have shown that they are serious about their running game.

The team has signed three running backs in free agency, including former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who signed a five-year, $40 million contract.

They also signed former Browns running back Isaiah Crowell to a five year, $25 million contract in February.
