Polygon: How do I get my game reviewed in the PlayStation store?
We’re all familiar with the concept of a review embargo, but there’s more to it than that.
It can help the developer get their game into stores, and it can help keep reviews in the pipeline for the publisher.
The review embargo can also help publishers who have released titles in the past, like the original Tomb Raider, get reviews for those titles in-game.
The publisher will only be able to send the review embargo to publishers with a score of 0% or less in-app purchases, which means that they will only get a warning before the embargo kicks in.
But you don’t have to be an indie developer to get the embargo.
As long as your game has no in-store sales, the publisher can still send you a notification letting you know about it.
You can find out how to get a review on the store, and how to avoid it, in our guide to getting reviews on PlayStation.
You can also check out our guide on what the PS4’s review embargo looks like.
If you don’ t know how to reach out to publishers, or don’t know where to start, we’ve put together a guide to help.
