You’ve never made a banana cake before and you’re thinking you have to do this every time you make a cake.
Well, you’re right.
Here’s how to make one from scratch.
Cut a banana.
Cut up a banana and place it in a food processor.
Pulse the processor for about 20 seconds.
Pulse for another 30 seconds.
Pulse again for another 15 seconds.
Add in the coconut milk and pulse for about 15 seconds to make sure the coconut is well incorporated.
Add the coconut cream and pulse on high for a few seconds.
Add about 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and a pinch of salt.
You’ll probably need to stir in the remaining cocoa powder and cocoa butter after this step.
Add your banana slices and pulse a couple more times to combine.
Place the banana slices in the food processor and pulse until they’re smooth and not sticking together.
Place them in the freezer for about five minutes.
Remove the slices from the freezer and let them sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
Sprinkle the chocolate on top.
