A few years ago, Nintendo’s Nintendo Direct presentation was a great opportunity for gamers to see how the company was making progress on their console.
Now, it seems like Nintendo is on a roll.
While the company is continuing to work on its next console, the company has also announced a new Nintendo Switch port that will launch in 2018.
In a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto said that Nintendo will be bringing the Mario games to the Switch.
Nintendo Switch will have a limited number of games, including a handful of classic Mario games.
According to Miyamoto, the Switch will also include “many of the new, enhanced, and expanded features of the Nintendo Switch hardware.”
The Nintendo Switch will come with a built-in Joy-Con controllers that will allow users to control the console with the same precision that the Joy-Cons of other systems have come to.
Nintendo has also promised to launch a slew of new games that will be coming to the system in the coming months.
These include “some classic Nintendo games that have not been available on other platforms.”
While it’s unclear when these titles will be released, it’s safe to assume that they’ll be a mix of old and new.
